TfL Reminds Customers of Rising Tube and Rail Fares from 1 March 2026 Yurtdışı Haberleri by railsistem - Şubat 23, 20260 Transport for London (TfL) has reminded customers that Tube and rail fares are set to increase from 1 March 2026 – whilst bus and tram fares will remain frozen until July 2026, with some routes receiving extensions on free travel periods. As agreed in the July 2025 Spending Review; the Government’s 2.2 billion GBP multi-year funding deal for TfL contained an expectation that fares would rise by inflation +1%, however, the Mayor of London has decided to utilise City Hall budgets to help Londoners by freezing bus and tram fares until 5 July 2026. Fares will be raised from 1 March 2026 © Canva The price of travelcards will also be frozen until March 2027, allowing weekly and daily caps to remain at the same price and, in turn, enabling those who regularly use pay as you go to hit caps sooner, limiting the overall travel increase throughout the year. As part of the fare changes; the majority of single pay as you go Tube costs will increase by 0.20 GBP or less, with many set to rise by by 0.10 GBP. Elizabeth line fares between Zone 1 and Heathrow will rise from 13.90 GBP to 15.50 GBP.
