Alstom and CTCI awarded Taipei metro E&M contract Yurtdışı Haberleri by railsistem - Temmuz 10, 20180 TAIPEI City Government’s Systemwide E&M Project Office (Sempo) has awarded Alstom and Taiwanese engineering and contracting services company CTCI a contract to supply an integrated metro system for Taipei metro Line 7 phase one. The total contract value is €378m, while Alstom’s share is worth close to €220m. Line 7, also called Wanda Zhonghe Shulin Line, is a medium-capacity metro line. Phase one will be 9.5km long with nine stations. It will run southwest from Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, where it will connect with the Red and Green lines, to the New Taipei City Zhonghe district and Tuchen district with a journey time of 15 minutes. As consortium leader, Alstom will supply a total of 76 Metropolis metro cars formed into 19 trains, its Urbalis communication-based train control (CBTC) driverless signalling system, a supervisory control and data acquisition (Scada) system, and platform screen doors. It will also work with CTCI on project management and system integration. CTCI will provide the track work, power supply, depot equipment, telecommunication and ticketing systems.
