Alstom Visits Erkath for Pre-Acceptance Test Yurtdışı Haberleri by railsistem - Mayıs 31, 20230 As one of the leading companies in the production of rail vehicles and systems, Alstom has the highest demands in regard to quality, process reliability and precision of pressing wheelsets. Values that our customers are used to and that they expect from MAE, and which we check and confirm during the pre-acceptance test of Alstom’s new wheelset press type RADS 2-315. In addition to the standards of CE Directive or EC Machinery Directive (sound level measurement, DGUV3 testing, verification of personal safety, …), the process reliability (Cp, Cpk) of the cylinder force and position as well as measurement accuracies were checked. In addition to these general criteria, Alstom provides customer-specific workpieces. The actual assembly and disassembly process is demonstrated and tested with these workpieces, which later run on the machine in the customer’s plant following the exact same process. We achieved our goal and received the pre-acceptance approval for the wheelset press including conveyor system for the Sydney Metro Northwest (SMNW) maintenance plant. Alstom leaves Erkrath with a good feeling, we take a short breath and then prepare everything for the long journey to Down-Under.
