No. 66732 GBRf The First Decade – John Smith MD hauls a fully laden rake of DB Cargo MMA box wagons out of Dove Holes Quarry, bound for Peak Forest Long Sidings, on July 23. UKRL’s No. 56081 is stabled out of use in the background. STEVE STUBBS Privately owned Colas and latterly UK Rail Leasing ‘56s’ have been used over the last couple of years, but slow speed operation and excessive idling have led to numerous failures, and their replacement with more reliable and newer traction.
