Risk management is the supreme discipline for project managers.

If you neglect it, it is very likely that you will have to invest a lot more than you saved when problems occur. If you overdo it, you quickly lose focus on the essentials and waste resources.

Swiss railway infrastructure operators are obliged by law to assess and record the risks of their projects. We support the suburban rail provider Forchbahn AG in this and hold three workshops with the overall project management and the individual project managers. We have familiarised ourselves with the internal tool for project risk analysis and presented it to those responsible, advise and accompany them in the analysis of project-specific opportunities and risks and will review the results of the final analysis of a total of nine projects.
