TfL Temporarily Withdraws New DLR Trains from Service Yurtdışı Haberleri by railsistem - Kasım 13, 20250 Transport for London’s (TfL) Docklands Light Railway (DLR) has temporarily withdrawn its new B23 trains from service following the identification of a braking issue. The trains were manufactured by CAF and entered service only last month. They have been taken out of operation as a precautionary measure after one unit experienced a performance problem during wet weather conditions. TfL has confirmed that the issue occurred when a train did not stop in the intended position at a platform due to low adhesion caused by rain. This concern affects only the new trains and not the existing fleet. New DLR train © Transport for London Engineering teams from TfL, KeolisAmey Docklands, and CAF are working closely to identify the cause of the problem and implement a solution. Until the investigation is complete, DLR services will continue using the older fleet. Passengers are advised to check TfL’s website for the latest service updates. The new B23 trains were introduced to provide increased capacity and improved accessibility on the network. While the temporary withdrawal is a setback, TfL expects the issue to be resolved promptly, ensuring that passengers can benefit from the enhanced features of the modernised fleet as soon as possible.
