UK: East Midlands Railway Reveals Interior of Aurora Fleet Yurtdışı Haberleri by railsistem - Şubat 19, 20240 East Midlands Railway (EMR) has revealed the interior design of its new Aurora Intercity fleet that will operate on the Midland Mainline from early 2025. The 33 five-carriage trains are being built by Hitachi Rail and will be capable of running on electricity and diesel. First Class onboard the new Aurora fleet © EMR EMR has now released a video revealing the interior details of the new fleet. This includes design elements such as ensuring the seats are as comfortable as possible while using durable materials. The seats have been designed in close collaboration with Derby-based design firm DGDESIGN © EMR In addition, the new trains feature power and USB points, generous legroom, improved passenger information screens, WiFi, air conditioning, coat hooks, well-sized seat-back tables and space to stow a bag under each seat. Rachel Turner, Head of New Trains at East Midlands Railway, said: “We are really excited for the introduction of the Aurora fleet and hope our customers enjoy watching this film.
