Construction work for the CRL King Albert Park and CRL Clementi stations is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2024. Passenger service for CRL Phase 2 is targeted for 2032.

Both of the new stations will be built in busy areas surrounded by residential, educational and commercial properties. To mitigate the impact of this work, the required traffic diversions will be implemented in phases.

As part of the project, work will also be carried out at King Albert Park station on the Downtown Line and Clementi station on the East-West Line to facilitate seamless transfers with the new CRL stations.

The CRL is Singapore’s eighth Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line. It is being constructed in three phases and will have a total length of over 50 kilometres.
