PALFINGER: The lift supplier will be using InnoTrans 2018 to highlight the growing demand for wheelchair lifts in the rail sector as step-free access to trains becomes an increasingly important issue across the sector.

Palfinger will be introducing its Trainlift TRV 1200, which has a lifting height of 1200 mm, an updated platform design and automatic roll stops. The vertical lift is primarily intended for use in regional passenger trains.

An electric lift designed to optimise life-cycle costs will also be on display as part of the company’s range of TSI PRM-compliant appliances.
