CP6 Launch Event

UK rail infrastructure operator Network Rail works on 5-year timetables for planning and financial purposes. Control Period 6 (CP6) will run from 2019–2024. During this Control Period, Network Rail have pledged to:

• implement around 1,000 extra services every day by 2021
• prepare the railways for the digital era
• increase funding by 25% to reduce delays and increase infrastructure reliability
• continue significant amounts of investment (more than £47 billion) in the rail network

The plan put forward by Network Rail also includes environmental measures, such as reducing carbon emissions and reducing energy usage.

Millian are honoured to have the opportunity to host the industry’s opening event for CP6. At the event there will be two major figures from Network Rail keen to talk to attendees about Control Period 6. Major contractors and subcontractors will also be present to discuss opportunities and help drive the new framework forward. The goal is to work collaboratively so that the upcoming projects are delivered successfully and to a high standard.
