ScotRail Extends Maintenance Contract for Siemens Mobility Class 380 Trains  

ScotRail has agreed a five-year maintenance contract extension for its fleet of Siemens Mobility Class 380 trains.

This is the second time that ScotRail has extended this contract and will see the technical support and spares supply agreement (TSSSA) – which covers support in areas such as safety, reliability, maintenance, spares supply, modifications, and overhauls – run until December 2026.

The 38 Class 380 trains have travelled almost 50 million miles over the last ten years, enabling 125 million passenger journeys.

Twenty one Siemens Mobility employees stationed at the Shields depot in Glasgow will continue to ensure the fleet achieves optimum performance and reliability by performing technical, commercial, materials, logistics and service delivery.
