DB Regio will acquire the new trains on behalf of the Ministry of Transport of Baden-Württemberg. Once delivered, the Landesanstalt Schienenfahrzeuge Baden-Württemberg (SFBW) will become the owner. It will lease the vehicles to DB Regio for a period of 13 years – the duration of their transport contract.
