Denmark lifts pocket wagon ban

The ban was issued following an accident on the Great Belt Bridge on January 2, when a Danish State Railways (DSB) passenger train was struck by debris from a passing freight train, killing eight passengers and injuring 16. RZD records growth in passenger and freight traffic

Overall passenger numbers on RZD infrastructure reached 1.155 billion last year, with volumes increasing 5.2% to 129.3 billion passenger-km. US still short of full PTC implementation
