The TGV M project was initiated in 2016 and has incorporated expertise from specialists at Alstom and SNCF Voyageurs through an innovation partnership. Key Features of the Interior Design Increased Capacity: The TGV M offers an additional 20% seating capacity compared to current models, with modular seating arrangements allowing flexible configurations. Enhanced Accessibility: The design includes improvements for passengers with reduced mobility, such as wider aisles, step-free access, and dedicated spaces. Optimised Comfort: New ergonomic seating, improved lighting, and better noise insulation contribute to a more comfortable travel experience. Digital Connectivity: Upgraded onboard digital services include enhanced Wi-Fi, individual USB and power sockets, and real-time travel information. Sustainability Features: The TGV M is designed to consume 20% less energy per journey while maintaining high-speed performance. The use of recyclable materials has been prioritised in construction.
