Salisbury disruption set to continue this week Yurtdışı Haberleri by railsistem - Kasım 8, 20210 Salisbury disruption set to continue this week Train services through Salisbury are expected to be disrupted throughout this week, as work continues on clearing the line after the collision between two trains eight days ago. Network Rail says the infrastructure at Salisbury Tunnel Junction was damaged by the accident, which the RAIB says was ‘almost certainly’ caused by lack of wheel adhesion. Meanwhile, South Western Railway has paid tribute to the driver of the train to Honiton driven by Robin Tandy, 74, which slid past a red signal in spite of increasingly urgent brake applications and collided with a Great Western train to Bristol on the junction. South Western Railway said Mr Tandy, who suffered ‘life-changing injuries’, had bravely stayed in his cab, even when a collision was inevitable. The company added: ‘He is a deeply respected colleague, who has over 50 years’ experience of driving on this route and an excellent professional track record. All our drivers are regularly assessed to the highest standards and he has fully satisfied all requirements. Initial findings indicate that the driver acted in an impeccable way in a valiant attempt to keep his passengers safe, staying at the controls throughout. We thank him for his actions and we wish him a speedy recovery.’ source= http://www.railnews.co.uk/news/2021/11/08-salisbury-disruption-set-to-continue.html Paylaşmak Güzeldir...Facebook'ta paylaşmak için tıklayın (Yeni pencerede açılır)Twitter üzerinde paylaşmak için tıklayın (Yeni pencerede açılır)Linkedln üzerinden paylaşmak için tıklayın (Yeni pencerede açılır)WhatsApp'ta paylaşmak için tıklayın (Yeni pencerede açılır)Pinterest'te paylaşmak için tıklayın (Yeni pencerede açılır)Telegram'da paylaşmak için tıklayın (Yeni pencerede açılır)Reddit üzerinde paylaşmak için tıklayın (Yeni pencerede açılır)Pocket'ta paylaşmak için tıklayın (Yeni pencerede açılır)Tumblr'da paylaşmak için tıklayın (Yeni pencerede açılır)Skype'da paylaşmak için tıklayın (Yeni pencerede açılır)Arkadaşınıza e-posta ile bağlantı göndermek için tıklayın (Yeni pencerede açılır)Daha fazlaYazdırmak için tıklayın (Yeni pencerede açılır)Bunu beğen:Beğen Yükleniyor...
