New Vienna – Munich – Paris Night Train Comes into Service this December

A new night train travelling between Vienna and Paris will come into service this December.

The Nightjet is a collaboration between the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), SNCF and Deutsche Bahn, with the direct train to Paris reviving the history of the Orient Express, which was on this connection until 2007.

From 13 December the Nightjet will travel three times a week.

Every Monday, Thursday and Saturday there will be a direct route from Vienna Central Station via St. Pölten, Linz, Salzburg and Munich to Paris Gare de l‘Est. Departure from Vienna is at 7:40 pm, arriving in Paris the next day at 9:42am.

The connection from Paris to Vienna is offered every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
